Lines and very dry under eyes makeup makes it look worse ?

I am 42 and all of a sudden the skin around my eyes upper and lower have gotten very dry . I've tried all kinds of eye creams and can't find one to add moustier to my eyes. After I finish my make up it even looks drier. Any ideas ?Lines and very dry under eyes makeup makes it look worse ?
Sometimes this happens when you don't drink enough water. But the thing your eyes need is vitamin E... There is a vitamin E ointment that GNC sells or any Wild Oats sells in a tube that works wonders. You put this on before you go to bed around your eyes. This way it will absorb into your skin. If still dry put a little dab before you put your make up on. Than apply your foundation than add your concelear.Lines and very dry under eyes makeup makes it look worse ?
It's hard to give advice because I don't know what products you have tried, both cream wise and the type of your foundation. Look for an eye cream for dehydrated skin. If you are using one with retinol, you can get very dry if you are sensitive to it, so you may want to lay off it. Try using just a moisturizing eye cream, or if that doesn't work, before bed, gently tap a minuscule amount of olive oil into the skin around your eye. After 2 weeks you should notice a difference, the super dryness will be gone. Don't put powder around your eye area, it will make things worse. It's also changing seasons right now, so that can make your skin go crazy.
