Can a makeup primer be applied directly under the eyes to prevent concealors from drying in fine lines?

I recently found out that an eye cream is only supposed to be applied around the eye bone area because the skin directly under the eye is too sensitive. i was wondering if anyone knew if a makeup base can be applied to the area right under the eye? i want to avoid the dry concealer look i am getting right under my eyes...it makes me look older! Can a makeup primer be applied directly under the eyes to prevent concealors from drying in fine lines?
do not apply eye cream ';all-over'; -that is a very bad advice.

the reason you should only use it at brow bone and cheek bone is to avoid infection of the eye and inflammation of tear ducts which can happen if you apply the eye cream too closely to your eye.

Also since your upper eyelid is folded most of the time, eye cream applied there will just sit there and cause puffiness of the eyelid, and eventually it will make your upper eyelids saggy.

But to answer your question - that depends on a primer. you probably should not apply silicone-based primer there, and it might help if you switch to a liquid concealer that is also a brightenerCan a makeup primer be applied directly under the eyes to prevent concealors from drying in fine lines?

If you want to.....
Different eye creams can be used differently. If you want a really gentle eye cream to use everywhere, try Dove. If your concealer is drying in fine lines, either change it for an age friendly version or a creamier formula. and yes, you can use base directly under the eye as well as primer underneath.
I don't think it does. But I'm not 100% sure. However, MAC does make an under eye fast response primer.
