I've been wearing MAC ever since high school, now that I am reaching my mid-twenties I'm beginning to ease out of the barbie pink and go for more mature makeup...I live in San Francisco and everyone here seems to love Bare Essentials. Anyone know of any good makeup brands they love and will look good on a fair skined blone hair girl???I'm thinking of switching makeup lines, which is good, clean, but elegent?
Why do you limit yourself to one brand?! Makeup is so fun and there are so many great brands out there besides MAC and Bare Escentuals (which I just bought and honestly am not impressed with it...its way overhyped in my opinion) check out sephora.com. Smashbox, Clinique, Chanel, Tarte, Vincent Longo, Paula Dorf, Stila, Lancome, Urban Decay, and Benefit are some great brands to start with. For foundation I reccomend Smashbox, Shiseido, Allison Raffaele, Clinique, Makeup Forever, or Stila. All will give the clean non-cakey look you describe. All of the makeup on the site is top quality.I'm thinking of switching makeup lines, which is good, clean, but elegent?
I would recommend Urban Decay, Stila, Clinique, Estee Lauder, or Elizabeth Arden. Urban Decay %26amp; Stila are more for teens - thirtys, but Clinique, Estee Lauder, %26amp; Elizabeth Arden are definitley for all ages!
Go for the bare essentials or Burt's bee's makeup. Or any brand of your choice. as long as it is organic and or natural. If you can't eat it don't put it on the skin. Doesn't matter what color skin or hair you have they have shades to suit every kind. LISTEN CAREFULLY YOU MUST NOT PUT CHEMICALS ON YOUR SKIN!!!
Don't feed into propaganda and advertisement. The more a company spends to advertise the more you will be paying. Bare essentials is so good because of the reasons they tell you it is all natural. Burt's Bees is the exact same just different ingredients. trust me you do this and your skin will eventually become so clear and pure you might not even have to wear makeup. You can buy Burt's bees at your local health food store and is a cheaper alternative to bare essentials.

I'm a fair skinned red head and BeautiControl's make up is great. They have different foundations based on your undertones of your skin, ie: yellow, pink, neutral. I love their make up. Great coverage but looks totally natural. Stays on all day long. I sell the stuff and can't get enough of it. My make up bag used to be full of random brands of stuff... like MAC mascara, clinique foundation, Liz Claiborne eye shadow, but not any more. It's all full of beautiControl now. Everyone I know is just hooked on it. check it out at www.Beautipage.com/jwhittey
I recommend Mary Kay. I am around your age. I love it. I am a consultant if you need one. Go to my 360 page and click on my blast-you will then be routted to my website.
Clinique is perfect, because the make-up is good quality. Also its not like a teenager or old lady brand, more like young adults.
