I've used Bare Escentuals for years now. Are Raw Minerals any different? Any cheaper? I keep seeing their ads (right here in Answers even) and wondered if anyone has tried that line and how they like it?Has anyone tried Raw Minerals makeup line?
I use the mascara and blush, but stick with another brand for my lipstick.Has anyone tried Raw Minerals makeup line?
If you are looking for a cheaper mineral brand try Everyday Minerals. You can get free samples on their website. (I really love them!)
I have heard from about half my friends that they have tried and love raw minerals. Nothing on bare essentials. I don't know prices, though.
No I haven't, but if you try it let me know how you like it:)

Fellas . . do u like when women wear makeup ? If not, at what instance do you draw the lines ?
A little is good , too much NOT !!! For ya getting in the clown zone then, but I sometimes get them to tone it down after showing them some pictures of a demadex mites and other microbes, the same thing that gives dogs the mange which lives on humans like in your eye lashes and they feed on stuff like make up. Once they get a pretty good idea of whats living in their eyelids they tone it down LOL !!!Fellas . . do u like when women wear makeup ? If not, at what instance do you draw the lines ?
I like it when women wear a little bit of make up. I don't like when they feel like the HAVE to wear make up.Fellas . . do u like when women wear makeup ? If not, at what instance do you draw the lines ?
I dont care for makeup, personally it just covers up who the person really is. Show your true self, if someone cant accept you for who you really are then they arent worth your time anyway.
I draw the line when a woman shaves her eyebrows completely off and repaints them on with mascara.
Most guys do not like make-up. It's almost to the point where ';a lot of make-up'; will scare them away. Make-up seems to suggest high maintenance.
For me, the line is - if I can't tell that you are wearing any make-up, then that's good make-up. You can go over this line a little ways especially with eye make-up but not by much.
That's my criteria. It doesn't mean anything. Just my opinion.
Addition: there is one exception. That exception is when the woman or girl is trying to make a statement with her make-up. Obvious example is a goth girl and her make-up. Another example is I dated a woman who would paint white lightening bolts on her eye brows to indicate (to those that knew her) that she was in a bad mood.
I think that makeup hides what women really look like. Its a disguise. It seems that they don't like themselves, and that is why they must wear makeup. Now I will admit, that make up can enhance a women's physical beauty, but once again, it is misleading.
If make up needs to be applied then, a light amount of make up that is tastefully done, can be very attractive.
A little is great.
Too much is terrible.
None is okay.
I draw the line at unnatural colors such as purple and blue.

Are the ELF studio line makeup brushes sold in kmart?
I don't think so, mostly they are in Big Lots.
I got all my brushes from their web site, and you can look up stores that have ELF items in it.
I would go on their website and get you the set or which ever brush you want.. You can wait it out too, sometime they have sales (you can sign up for the email) they will just email you with the info
Ex: Today from 2pm to 4pm you could have gotten mineral make up for 50% off! and could have used free shipping coupon with it (great deal huh!?)
Try the website though.. It worth itmyspace code

What is the best makeup line?
please answer? %26lt;=What is the best makeup line?
right now i really love LOREAL
but i also like:
mary kay
sephora
revlon
cover girl
cosmetiqueWhat is the best makeup line?
Clinique. Good for your skin, good variety and not too expensive. I'm 16 and I've been using it since I was 13! Good for acne too.
M.A.C is great and has a huge selection like many people have said
but Urban Decay is a really fun company, some of their stuff is shimmery, or sparkley or matte
its a really great company and none of their products are tested on animals, they're completely cruelty free
so have fun!
I don't really think that there is a best one. It depends on you and what you are looking for. I like MAC.
Chanel
There is this amazing cosmetics line that is long wearing and great shades %26amp; colors , and also actually GOOD for your skin. I love it - but it's expensive!! Save up and buy the foundation. My skin has never looked better.
http://www.glominerals.com/about.aspx
Doesn't neccessarily matter unless it is not under 4 bucks. Color selection is what matters. You can use expensive makeup and wrong colors and look like S****. so Revlon or even Rimmel is pretty good.
Use expensive brushes from MAC or Lancome. Lancome has a lot of offers like spend this much and get free lipsticks and/ or eyeshadow and/ or mascara. Also try to get freebies and trial size things at the dept. store. You can't imagine how generous they are. So buy good quality brushes/moisturizer/foundation from Lancome while they have an freebie offer and you will have high end makeup. If you treat your brushes well you can have them forver.
So basically MAc or Lancome. But Mac usually never has promotional/freebie offers, so Lancome usually gives best bang for the buck. If you run out of makeup when there is no promo, then ask the sales assisant sweetly and with a smile. Make sure your dressesd like a big spender (nice hair, makeup, well fitting clothes)
The VERY BEST is Clinique, but it is VERY EXPENSIVE too!!! I like cheap brands like Wet N' Wild and N.Y.C. or the Love My Face, ...Nails, ...Lips, ...Eyes stuff from Walmart. The cheap brands really work very good for the price ($.97-$3.00)
estee lauder.
you can go to their counter, and ask them what shade would work best for you. they will completely do your foundation to check which shade works, and then they can suggest eye make up colors for your shade of eyes if you want. =)
i really like M.A.C.
they have a large selection of great products that they use in photo shoots and things like that
recommended, they're not too expensive either
shisedo
and
estee lauder
MAC, they have pretty much everything
Quite honestly you have to determine that for yourself... we, the community, can give you recommendations BUT its a personal preference. For years I only wore Cover Girl... and over the years I have tried other lines.. department store brands... mail order brands... right now.. I like Avon Mascara- their wash off/waterproof... I use Bare minerals or equivalent for powder and blush... I used a department store equivalent foundation stick for undereyes and freckles. Keep in mind to only change one item at a time, if you develope an allergy or reaction it will be easier to determine what caused it. Have fn and good luck.

What's your favorite line of makeup and why?
I love MAC Makeup because it works really well. It is alittle expensive. Foundation and an eyeshadow cost me 45 dollars. But I really love how they look! What's your favorite line of makeup and why?
Mac make up is the best. It is a little pricey but it lasts a long time as you only need a little. They have great colors and a great line. What's your favorite line of makeup and why?
MAC= its been around long and is GREAT and trusting
Maybelline = Cheap for an expensive look
Mary Kay...because everything is designed to work together, try before you buy, and I have had great results!
maybelline and covergirl...there both cheap but works great
I use Bareminerals for Foundation. And for eyes..I use whatever is cheapest at the drugstore..same as eye liner and Mascara.
For Lip Gloss...I like Avon and Urban Decay.
Blush I use Goldie from Bath %26amp; Body Works.
I use what is cheap and looks cute. But the Bareminerals I use to keep my face clear. Its all natural!
Shiseido is my favorite. Their products are high-quality; their selection is excellent. They are not cheap, but they are not the most expensive products on the market either.
for foundation i love maybellene matte mousse and i love rimmel extra super lash mascara and for shadow i love covergirl color sticks
Depends on the product.
Foundation: Bare Escentuals and Laura Geller (powder foundation)
Blusher: Clinique
Mascara and Primers (facial and eye): Benefit Cosmetics
Eye Shadow: Mary Kay %26amp; Victoria's Secret
Eye Liner: Victoria's Secret
Bare Essentuals... it's natural and it improves your skin as you wear it!!!
Maybelline. I can afford it, works great with my skin, doesn't cause break outs for me, and I love the netural colors that the have.
If this is fantasy-land I'd chose: Bourjois foundation (that's not unrealistic), Fresh loose powder, Benefit concealer, Lip-Venom lip gloss, Chanel blusher, Lancome definicils mascara and Nars shadows liners. But since I don't have $2000 a year on make up and skin products, I've used what my dermatologist and one of my best friends (a professional make up artist in NYC) suggest.
Olay skin products
Bourjois or L'Oreal foundation
L'oreal mascara
any decent name brand shadow/liner (maybelline, cover girl, etc)
They work the same but do not use unnecessary ingredients (i.e. crushed pearls, caviar extract, etc) that could actually be more irritating to skin. (BTW Clinique is one of the WORST brands for sensitive skin...don't let the white coats fool you!)
My favorite line of makeup is MAC because its girly and fun
